Any Clue what that means? Thank you!

Try these things:

1) Re-connect everything and make sure the calc's on
2) Restart your computer
3) Re-install the latest version of Ti-Connect
4) Plug it in somewhere else on the computer
5) Use a Mac

Don't use a Mac. The Mac version of TI-Connect is awful.

It is, but at least you don't get that "access denied" error. In fact, the Mac version is very unique in that it comes up with a completely new spectrum of errors!

Say……I recall you being a fairly strong supporter of Macs. But now, judging by your profile, you aren't so much anymore. What happenedered?

I still like Macs a lot, I just don't have unlimited access to one anymore. My primary platforms are now Linux and XP.

True, but macs are the ones who thought up with a mouse and icons for the monitor. Microsoft just made it better, i guess.

Microsoft makes nothing better. Half the time, they don't even make things look better. For example, have you seen Microsoft's advertising for Vista on their website? Basically, they're saying:

"Oooh! Look at us! Look at us! We're finally copying all the features that Macs have already had for years! It's completely our own ideas, and you'll never have any idea about how powerful a computer you need to run our junk until you've already wasted your money on it! In fact, we'll even throw in some useful tools that you used to have to go out and buy, even though Mac's version of Office has been free for a while! We even have the gall to call our crap "innovative" and "revolutionary", and it's never gonna crash (LIARS!!!)."

If you know anything about Macs, it's pretty funny to go there and compare "new" features on Vista to all the stuff on Macs. They're copying big. Ask me to point it all out if you need to, but it should be obvious.

whats the big difference between PC and Mac? I've never used Mac before, but i was told they were cheap computers with different prgms. What i dont get is why when ever i buy a game, the directions for installing the game for Mac is twice as long as PC. Some games dont even run on Macs. I just think PC is user friendly and Mac seems to be technologic friendly.

Not even close. Mac is nothing-friendly. Proof:

Exhibit A
Exhibit B

I rest my case.

That has nothing to do with user friendliness. Have you ever even used a Mac? And I don't mean for 5 minutes in 1996, I mean used it extensively. It is much better than a PC and if I could get all the programs I need to work on a Mac, then I would switch to it and never look back.

LOL, thats priceless L. i loved every second of it. So it seems while Mac comes out with new ideas, PC perfects it and makes it better so it doesnt "crash" your system or "lock it up". Wow... listening to that guy talk about those problems with Mac makes me wounder how they are still in buissness. I mean... i have never had any of those simple problems before. thanks L. i feel better.

Strangely enough, there is a parody of that second movie (which is a parody), and can be found here. Not as funny, but quirky nonetheless.

Whoah whoah whoah, you think a Mac crashes or locks up? I've used a mac for 12 years and the only things that have crashed it are Microsoft Internet Explorer and AOL Instant Messenger.

I'm not saying thy do, although the old PowerMacs (I think they're called) that my school used to have did crash a fair amount... But when they got eMacs, it stopped (mostly). I just poseted that video becasue it's funny.

Yeah, I posted those videos because they're funny, not because they are actually 100% true. And yes, I have used macs extensively before. My school that I went to from kindergarten through 6th grade (1994-2001) had nothing but macs in the computer lab, all of which were updated every 2 or three years. They sucked and made me long for my windows95 box at home.
