As to legality... If it does not say anywhere in the game manual, or on their website, or any documentation on the CD, then I would guess you could do it so long as you did not try to make money off of the mods.

Pretty much it is a lot of guessing and checking.
If you are worried about legality. As long as you do not try to sell the mod or take credit away from the makers of the game, then you are ok.

Lancersreactor used to be the big modHQ for the game. Not sure if it is anymore. |
