Omnimaga Shuts Downallynfolksjr
Omnimaga was closed down last night by its owner citing inreconcilable differences. We will sorely miss the contributions Omnimaga has made towards the TI-BASIC community, which has produced multiple featured BASIC programs on ticalc.org. For displaced members of omnimaga, we suggest TI-Freakware as a replacement.

Has the site been totally deleted?

That's what the two ranking members below the site owner are saying.

Yes, the site itself was completely deleted. He put in a request to Invisionfree to have it restored from the last backup, but they are currently not processing those until zetaboards comes out (which has yet to be dated.)

He has made a temporary set up though...

Re: Omnimaga Shuts DownXphoenix
Wait, if he's requesting to have it put back up, then he's not the one who deleted it? Then why was it deleted?

Because IF keeps backups of the forums every so often. He is now waiting for them to get around to it...

Re: Omnimaga Shuts DownAndy
That isn't the point, the point is why does he delete it just to have it restored from a backup. ._.

Who knows?

Re: Omnimaga Shuts Downkucalc
I don't think he intentionally deleted it. It would be sad to blame Omnimaga for deleting his own site when he didn't. When he said he was going to delete it because of some bad behavior (something like that), it coincidentally probably got deleted by his web forum host. And that's he is now asking them to to restore Omnimaga from a backup.

It was DJ that deleted the Omnimaga forums. It was deleted based upon emotional circumstances at the time.

However, I do not agree that the circumstances warranted the deletion.
