Total Posts: 10 | im looking for a good super mario game for my ti-84+[i want the old school version like they had on nintendo 64]
ive downloaded like a bunch of files but when i try and upload it to my calculator and the box where you click what you wanna send comes up all you see is the read me file
ive also downloaded one where all that came up was the editing software and i don't want a version where you have to make levels or you can edit levels

Total Posts: 689 | First off, the N64 version was NOT "old school." It was the first 3D Mario game, but it was very far into the Mario franchise. The "old school" version is the version you have, that comes with the editor. Read more below.
The readme file error tends to come up when you don't transfer your files from your ZIP folder. Take whatever you want to send out of zip before transferring it.
As for the version of Mario with only editing software, the editing software is optional. You can run the Mario game, which comes bundled with the editor, as long as you have enough RAM. If you do not have enough RAM, the game will not appear in Mirage. The editor is slightly smaller in size than the game, and therefore can sometimes be seen in the Mirage menu without seeing the actual game. Archive everything important on your calc and reset your RAM.
Incidentally, items in the memory menu with stars by them are archived, and without stars are not.
Be sure you have levelsets when you play the game.

Total Posts: 689 | Level sets are the levels you use with Mario. Look under the "Miscellaneous" tab at the top of this site. They do not appear under Mirage, but they do appear in the game menu.
As for Mario Party, it's a completely unrelated game to Super Mario. It does not run in Mirage OS, but rather directly from the program menu.
