Total Posts: 1676 | Welp, I'm moved in to my new apartment.
There are a few things that make me angry.
1.) I have to pay for internet.
2.) I have 3 options to pay for internet. 256 kbps, 512 kbps, or 1024 kbps.
3.) I chose 1024 kbps, which costs $20 per month... I'm the only one who gets to use it... an entire family can have internet for that price.... and FASTER internet.
4.) 1 mbps is slow... especially since i only get 750kbps or so.
5.) The IP I have to use is blacklisted on every single IRC server I have tried... well... every single efnet irc server that I have tried... the other networks aren't worth it... since they don't have #calcgames on them.
question: any proxies or things that I can use to connect reliably to efnet?

What you might have to do is route your IRC program through tor, although some servers might be blacklisted and your connection might randomly crap out.
Other than that, perhaps Andy or someone else with a 24/7 box would be nice enough to give you a shell account to use. :) |
