TICT is done with FAT 3D engine! | Barrett |
Wow, after all this time TICT finished their FAT project. For those who don't know, FAT is a 3D engine for 89 and 92. For those who do know, version 1.0 of FAT has just come out and it boasts a ton of features in it's some 52 kb size. I'm very excited that they're done working on it because FAT has a good potential and hopefully will produce many games, which will now be in 3D! Woohoo! Here are some of the screenies of the ongoing projects by 3rd parties. From left to right: MazeRunner 3D, Shootout and Corridor. First two are for 89 and Corridor is for 92 only (it doesn't run on 89 because of different keymap), so I can't test it myself, but first two are pretty cool. Also, Shootout requires you to have two calcs as its a 2 player deathmatch. Click each pic to download the game and see how cool FAT engine is. I hope you'll have fun tryin this new calc technology. update: The project is not actually finished according to Tom. But v.1.0 could definately good enough to be considered done. http://www.calcgames.org/site/pub/mazerunner3d.gif - - - http://www.calcgames.org/site/pub/shootout.gif - - - http://www.calcgames.org/site/pub/corridor.gif
