Under the 68k FAQ entries, on the topic of the calculator being frozen, it says:

"... Your calculator will reinstall your OS, and you can use your calculator again, without pulling the power to it."

This is supposed to happen after using 2nd+Left+Right+On reset combination. Except your calculator isn't reinstalling the operating system when that happens. (You kind of need a computer to do that.) It's more like... restarting, so to speak.

it does reinstall the flashapps. maybe reinitalize would be better.
