Total Posts: 235 | ok so i was messing around and when i looked at the url for "View Today's Active Topics" ii noticed it ended in
history=24
so i went and changed that to
history=48
and i showed active topics in the last 48 hrs!
sorry if you all have already posted on this but i thought it was pretty cool to do if you wern't able to look at the forum for a while then when you came back you could just enter
history=xx
xx=amount of days gone x 24
I don't know i thought it was pretty cool any ways sorry if you guys (and girls) have already talked about this
PS:
(folder pic w/ star)= New topics since you last logged out
(folder pic)= Other topics
is it just me or does this not work for any one every post and forum for me has a star next to it? i even tried it in IE (i use firefox) but it still didn't work

Total Posts: 692 | Have you ever logged out? When you register, naturally, all the topics have the star, but if you don't ever logout, they stay the same. For example, if you logout then login right away, none of them will have a star next to them (unless somebody posted in that two second gap).
Otherwise, yes, I have also noticed that when you go to a topic and then click "home page" at the top of the forum rather than just going back, it sometimes does shopw all the topics as being new.
Edit: How do you do that thing with the 48 hours rather than 24?
