so yes
im learning C++ with the best book in the world
and am intalling Direct X SDK to work with it
i will be able to make professional games when im done with the book
im about 3/8 the way through it
its awesome
first project will prob be for my girlfrend
a funny game
haha
and then ill prob make one of three things
a zombie game
a war game (based on Fable)
or
a pointclick rpg (based on Guildwars)
kewl eh?
o i also am thinking of a project for the future-but i might need some experience before i try and tackle it
so im keeping it a secret

anyways
those were just ideas
im focusing on a couple of main ideas cooped up in me brain
im thinking of a zelda meets naruto kinda game
plays like zelda yet complicated and with lotsa crazy (and fast-yet easy) battles
hows that sound?
also- boy i am lucky- my gf is going to be a graphix artist!

she'll make some sweet designs no doubt.

Total Posts: 542 | i would have to differ on you with that one. The big comic MegaTokyo is done by Fred Galliger, and when he started it he was a full time architech. But the comic became too much for him, so he quit his job and took the comic on full time. and now he is rich. wow, lucky guy.
