hello... my name is "acid" short for "Anti-Crescentdoor Incorperated Dude" and I have proof that CDI stole my N.Snake and Lines games from me and posted them here... I made these games on a 83 that he copied onto his calc and released as his own... (My "company" nam was "ESCAPE! Games")

If you have proof, could you please present it? Either post here, or send me an email/PM.

Iff you look at Lines2 and 3 also N.Snake 1, IN, and 2 they all have the "An ESCAPE! Game" thingy at the bottom instead of his usual "CDI Games" thingy!!!

Plus... I taught him all he knows about BASIC!!!

Either present a CVS repository log, or give us files with file modification dates to porve that your program was made before CDI's.

I had to re-open this topic and post something really quick.

First of all a game like snake is going to have a lot of the same code, no matter who wrote it. And if you truly did teach him everything that you know, wouldn't it be understandable if the code was very similar to thew one you worte. Anyway, just a couple points to think about.

Secodnly in my time with ticalc.org, I encountered several instances of individuals reporting programs of being stolen, however using the refrences I had available to me at the time. I was able to actually call their lie, and actually hand them proven evidence that they were in fact lying to get a rival program removed.

I am not saying this is the case as I have not looked into it, but if this "acid" would like to contact the filearchiver, it would be a much more effective way of solving this issue.

Reopened as I don't see sufficient reason for it being closed. You don't close a topic just because someone accuses you of stealing code. You wait until they have had a chance to post evidence.

It appears that this guy and CDI were at the same library. They know each other. I think he's bluffing, and can't provide any reason for us to believe him. So Xero Xcape seems to be clean. :-)

Yeah... :) But I had a long talk (well... it was short and he didn't talk) about not trying to "past-steal" my programs, and that my code is mine, and probably close, but not the same as his... so I think it's all sorted out...

@Andy - I closed this because it was solved at the library and on IRC so there was no need for it further... plus it was at my disrection (granted my discretion was under your discretion...) so I took the liberty to close it :P

Well you could have said that, but from what I saw on IRC it wasn't quite resolved... Oh well, go ahead and relock if you must...
