Edit | BobGame 7 is under way! Although I'm still working on the basic engine, I can say one thing:
Expect something totally different.
In fact, I'm getting some ideas as I write this...
I'll reveal one thing. You don't have to play as Bob this time around. I am a playble character, and so will be Pixel Man, George, and Lord Mathias (but only if I can somehow make a 16x32 sprite of a stick person with a Vader helmet).
And there will be better dialouge this time, with actual "cinema scenes". |

Edit | Okay, I've made some progress: I've made a cool boss character and I have a storyline in mind. Here goes.
Bob, being the only competent person living in BobTown (yes, he lives in BobTown, it's actually in Wisconsin), gets an emergency phone call from the police. Yes, the police call him. This is an absolutely pathetic town. Anyways, the local bank is being robbed by some sort of robot blob! Bob calls his friend Jc (who brings his friend, Pixel Man) to go eliminate the threat. He figures that George must be up to his old tricks again, or maybe that Lord Mathias is trying to set him up again.
Well, they aren't. Everyone arrives at the same time, and Jc defeats the blob. After a short scuffle involving Bob being the usual idiot he is, we learn that the robbery was a setup for a new evil fiend to rise to power and seize control of BobTown! The aforementioned evil fiend dashes in and steals Pixel Man from Jc. Bob and Jc decide to go rescue the pixelized fellow and rescue the city! Meanwhile, Lord Mathias is furious about not being the big bad guy in this game and decides to go kill everyone responsible. George happily joins in the chaos.
Gameplay will be very simple: You will control one character at a time for each level, where you will have a one-on-one fight against a boss character in an arcade-style platformer thingy. After the first battle where you play as Jc, you will get to choose whether you want to play as the Hero Team or the Dark Side. Each team has their own storyline that will have its own ending. If I'm super pumped, I will also create a Bonus Storyline, which will have both sides teaming up to fight the evil... wait, I haven't revealed the bad guy yet! Well, by bad guy, I mean the guy trying to take over BobTown.
Multiplayer is a huge possibility. The main four characters will be playable, and you MAY be able to unlock some others with secret codes!
Already, I have plans for Alex10819 to make an appearance... he deserves it, considering the Sims 2 movies he's made. XX seems to want to be in it, that's a good idea... maybe all the CH admins will be bosses... hehehehe. |

It runs on windows, so you don't need a shell/keernel to run it. It's probably not gonna take up more than a few measley megs on your hd either, to answer question 1. You'll have to wait for Jc for a demo, though. |
