Total Posts: 465 | I have a problem with DOS programs. Everytime I try to run them, the black screen just flashes on, and then closes right away. I want to dump the rom of a 82, but I can't because DOS dosn't like me. How can I run this program, and make it so it stays up? |

Edit | Um, are you running them from windows? Don't, if you are, because then you can't give extentions, and you can actually see what you did. |

Total Posts: 1892 | ah, you need to run the "command prompt" and then use that to run the program you want. That's in XP, of course. |

Total Posts: 1005 | Go to start, run, and type cmd to open the Command Prompt. I believe [windows]R will work as well. |
