lord_bakotl Dragoon Posted: 4 Sep 2005 20:35 GMT Total Posts: 70 | Isn't Robertson the guy who said that the U.S. should take out Chavez, and Chavez in return called him a 'terrorist' for making that remark? |
alex10819 Wraith Posted: 6 Sep 2005 09:04 GMT Total Posts: 507 | something like that... if you ask me (this is my PERSONAL OPINION), Pat Robertson needs to shut up and crawl back into his little hole. What he said was uncalled for, and now he probably thinks he is the Messiah on wheels...
With Rinquist gone, John Roberts is now going for the lead judiciary appointment. I think that is just plain wrong, a newbie to to supreme court should NOT be in charge of it. |

One would note that those three served in the 20th century, but still a minority even then weren't directly (Directly meaning: Not Serving as an Associate Justice before serving as Chief) appointed Chief Justice. So appointing a "newbie" is a common practice.

You can't bring back someone who retired... |
lord_bakotl Dragoon Posted: 6 Sep 2005 11:22 GMT Total Posts: 70 | Sure you can, at least I dont think that there is a law against it right now. I had heard that they were thinking of bringing her back for a little while to fill as a justice until they picked someone else to replace Roberts, if he was to become the next Cheif Justice. |
