Edit | Well, I know there are some here that watch this about as religously as I do, and I was wondering what your thoughts on the upcoming episode is? I think it is kind of funny how they will be pulling all these other scifi stories/series into it.
Also, I have a slight bit of a request. I was wondering if someone would be willing to record that particular one for me, either dvd or vhs. My dad bought a newdvd/vcr system a while back, but we just found out last week the dumb thing refuses to record, and we tried everything.
I am willing to pay for the disc/tape and shipping and handling. And I do pay; ask Andy, as he provided me a dvd of sg1/atlantis once before. :) |

I'll see if I can coerce anything to record for me, but I'm not going to hold my breath. My VCR is old and even on SP doesn't make very good quality, and recording from my VIVO is a bit... difficult. I do want an archive copy for myself, too. I'll figure SOMETHING out, for my own needs, at least. |

Edit | Well, they are doing a "parodies" episode, where they bring in things from Star Trek, Farscape, and many other scifi shows that they have gotten ideas from. :)
It is going to be an awesome episode, which I will at least watch, though would like to get a copy of... |

Total Posts: 939 | Alright, I managed to coerce my computer to record it. :P I got most (all but the first ~5 mintues) of the "Inside Stargate" feature before SG-1, and all of SG-1 and SGA. I used a really high quality (overkill for how well my VIVO can actually MAKE an image) to capture, which runs it to about 9GB. I'm going to have it recode those to much smaller files and see what happens. I'd have nothing against sending you a DVD of them, like before. :)
edit: Converting to DivX drops each file to about 1.2GB, small enough to fit on a single layer DVD. :) Quality is still as good as I could ever get using my video card to capture it. :P It's not great but it's still pretty damn decent.
edit edit: Of course, if you want it to be on a video-mode DVD, I can do that too. 3 hours fits on a DVD just fine, still decent quality (especially considering the source).
