I have checked that the volume is turned up and that the speaker is in the right jack and pushed in all the way. So I don't think that is it, but here is the funny thing. When I ran "CheckIt Diagnostics" that came with my norton systemworks to check the sound hardware and when I dialed up to the internet all sound was back (music, errors, ect) but it was gone again after it was done dialing up and I closed CheckIt. All you can hear is a faint fuzzy sound. So what do you think any thoughts would help. Realtec AC97 Audio is the name of the device if that holds any relevance.
Thank You

Edit: Ok so the sound just magically started working again today. Cool huh.
