the cube root of 27 is the same as saying 27^(1/3), and the square root of 9 is the same thing as saying 9^(1/2). just do "to the power of the reciprocal" (but be sure that it's in parenthesis or order of operations will do 9^1 = 9 divided by 2=4.5 instead of 3.

Ok now another problem. I want to get it back in radicall form, and I dont know how. I got somethign like 2^(2/3) and that wouldnt actually be a cubed root. So is there an easier way? THanks
