Posted: 7 Jan 2003 14:45 GMT Total Posts: 1676 | the cube root of 27 is the same as saying 27^(1/3), and the square root of 9 is the same thing as saying 9^(1/2). just do "to the power of the reciprocal" (but be sure that it's in parenthesis or order of operations will do 9^1 = 9 divided by 2=4.5 instead of 3.
