Shmylann13 Probe Posted: 8 Sep 2003 19:32 GMT Total Posts: 12 | Is there anyway to get more space available on my calculator? It's so limited that I can barely get anything on there. Or is there anything on the calculator thats not needed that I can delete? |
BullFrog Wraith Posted: 8 Sep 2003 19:36 GMT Total Posts: 623 | Full memory reset. Or delete some stuff, if you wanna do it the hard way. (Do this through your memory menu on the calc.)
What calculator are you using anyway?

Shmylann13 Probe Posted: 8 Sep 2003 19:37 GMT Total Posts: 12 | TI-83+. I barely put anything in though and its already not letting me fit anymore. I mean I have 1 game and 2 of those card things with questions. That's all I've added. So what does that memory restore do and how do you do it? |
BullFrog Wraith Posted: 8 Sep 2003 20:05 GMT Total Posts: 623 | Make sure stuff is in archive.

Shmylann13 Probe Posted: 8 Sep 2003 20:09 GMT Total Posts: 12 | How do I make sure it's in archive and if it's not how do I put it in archive? I'm new to the calculator thing... |
BullFrog Wraith Posted: 8 Sep 2003 20:17 GMT Total Posts: 623 | [2nd] + [+] + [2] + [1]. (Keys to press.) If a "*" is by it, then it's in archive. If not, it's in RAM.

Shmylann13 Probe Posted: 8 Sep 2003 20:18 GMT Total Posts: 12 | Ok, but how do you play a game when its archived, because one of the games that I got, came already archived and everytime I click on it, it says "error:archived" So what do i do? |
BullFrog Wraith Posted: 8 Sep 2003 20:20 GMT Total Posts: 623 | Unarchive and run, or put MirageOS (here) on your calc, run that, then play the game.

Shmylann13 Probe Posted: 8 Sep 2003 20:23 GMT Total Posts: 12 | Ok, and my final question is, I went to the memory spot and I see an unarchive button, but how exactly do I unacrchive something? When I click on it, it just bring me to a screen that says "unarchive" and thats it. What do I do? |
BullFrog Wraith Posted: 8 Sep 2003 20:24 GMT Total Posts: 623 | Go to the memory menu, scroll through to the one you want, and hit [ENTER]. This will un/archive it.

Shmylann13 Probe Posted: 8 Sep 2003 20:27 GMT Total Posts: 12 | What do u mean, scroll to the one I want? On the memory menu? All I see there are selections that I can make. |
BullFrog Wraith Posted: 8 Sep 2003 20:29 GMT Total Posts: 623 | The menu I told you to go to before to delete stuff or whatever. You will need to scroll to the one you want. (There is a little triangle like cursor on the right side.) Once it's by the one you want, hit enter to unarchive it.
