Is there a mario available for the 89? I havent been able to find one!

Also does the 89 have the ability to plot individual points on a graph? and then maybe draw a line of best fit?

Thanks!

Do you own a manual for the 89, I mean that 3/4 inch thick book. If yes, go read the graphing and table sections, it will tell you all you need to know.
Yes there is a version of mario for the 89. Go to http://www.ticalc.org/pub/89/asm/games to look for the current version.

Mario is on just about every calc.

For future referecene, remeber that the Ti89 can take almost every game, cause it can play the most, like ti89 onwers get Tankers, and cool games like that.

Your logic is all wrong. There isn't even a final fantasy on the 89. There are about 8 different zelda games and all have the the same controls and gameplay, there are even more nibbles/snake games, and the only good games are the ones by decent programmers. By putting those proper constraints on including that there has to be an author willing to port a game, the z80 calcs have better games.

Who cares about final fantasy? pfft.

Yes, there is a mario for your TI-89. I suggest you get PreOS as your kernal to run the game.
And there are many great games on the TI-89. If you would like, I'll list my favorite games. Also, you can also do a lot with your TI-89. There are awesome sound tools to tweak with, picture viewers, many useful functions, and many novelty programs.

I would say the best Mario for 89 is Super Mario Quest. You need PreOS or Doors to run it.

Yes, there is. It's called Super Mario Quest. http://www.ticalc.org/ pub/89/asm/games/kernel/ (minus the space) if I remember right...

Enter the points into a data table, x values in one column and y in another, then graph them with stat plots or whatever they're called.

Best fit is LinReg, QuadReg, etc, depending on what kind of line the points make. (I had fun with this in Physics last week.)
