Posted: 31 Dec 2003 16:52 GMT Total Posts: 1892 | You must describe it more thorughly. From the top of my head, you can't unarchive a program from another BASIC program. Make sure all of the stuff is spelled right and the commands are correct. If nothing else works, archive everything and clear your RAM. For a more detailed explanation on the error, look in your calculator guidebook, theres a section on 'error messages.'

Are you just goign to the memory menu and pressing enter on the program to unarchive it? Might be corrupted ROM if that's the case. |

Posted: 1 Jan 2004 11:22 GMT Total Posts: 1892 | If the ROM is corrupted, I'd suggest backing up your calc to the computer...then maybe trying a full reset... I think a year or two ago I heard of MigageOS sometimes corrupting your ROM... |

Posted: 15 Jan 2004 08:20 GMT Total Posts: 1390 | Do you have the Silver Edition?. I got that error 4 time only on my SE (not on the 83+). First time ago, I was beta-testing one of my old RPG and when the game tried to unarchive a picture, it said that error (I had to re-draw the picture and resetmy RAM). Second time was with the Reign of Legwends 1 when Zflash unarchived the Attack command menu. Fortunately, all the files were on my 83+ Black edition. The third time and fourth time was with the Battle prgm and a picture in The reign of legends 2 and I got really bored (this time, the files had not been updated for a while on my 83+. Each time you archive something on the SE, there is a very slim chance that the file corrupt and I don't know why. I think it's TI fault. (ERR:BAD ADRESS occurs with all Operating systems)
