how do i program a game nothing like a sports game but a game with a menu and options to pick rom like drug wars . could i do this on my culcultor i have a 84 plus se. and what are codes ans stuff. and does any one know any article to program stuff on cal. thanks

er, the full 84+SE manual has it...but try not to mention that program's name so much...

<===that website told me how to make a menu and thats it. i did wat it sed to make it then tried to open the prgm, just to test it, and the menu didnt even pop up. i dont get it. someone pleez help me. im trying to create a text adventure like that one bobgame. thanx.

If you still have it, the manual that comes with the TI-83+ (or 84+, i guess) should give an excellent description of how to make menus, lbls, gotos, etc. Also, you can open the games that are locked through TI-GraphLink, and you can study how other people made theirs. I taught myself that way.

i have the 84+ and 84+SE manual and i read it and it had nothing on programming.

I said the full manual...its found on the CD...or you can order it online from TI.

hm... the 83+ manual has a very good section on programming, it actually taught me a few things, and it gives some good examples. I would suggest asking a friend to borrow one, and BASIC is the same between the two calcs. Either that, or you could probably find some very good FAQ's at ticalc.org.
