JcCorp Probe Posted: 1 Dec 2004 13:50 GMT Total Posts: Edit | I just remembered what a friend told me about mario levels, and I figured that some beginning programmers would enjoy editing some of the levels on the site. There is a simple way of retrieving the password required to edit the level, but I only suggest doing this w/ the permission of the original author. Open the .8xp or .83p program file with a text editor, and you can find the password somewhere in there. Please don't blame me if you get in trouble for doing anything bad.
Oh, yeah. You have my permission to edit my levels. Just don't use them for evil purposes (claiming them as your own, etc.) and use them to learn what tiles do what, etc. |

I put hints to my passwords at the customized endings of my worlds. My friend was smart enough to figure them out. I did have to help him beat my worlds of course. |
