well im new to the forums but i like this site and all of its glory but for some reason when i try to transfer the pheonix platinum to my calc which is a ti 89 it wont allow it to. im not sure if its the program ti connect or what but if you have any ideas on how to download it then please tell me my classes are going to bore me to death.:)

What error message are you getting? Can you not send any files at all, or is it just the one that's a problem? Did you unzip the file before attempting to send it?

yes but the problem is that when i unzip and stuff and then try to send it to the caculator it says error receving file from my ti data/downloads/platinum ti 89 and thats pretty much it. i use ti connect but do i need to download ti graph link for it to work or did i do something wrong while unzipping it

The Graph Link software won't help unless you're using a serial type link cable. Is TI Connect recognizing your calculator at all? What happens if you try it with new batteries?
