IceNight Probe Posted: 25 Dec 2004 16:34 GMT Total Posts: 13 | I have been going around looking up different versions of falldown and none of them seem to work. They dont show up under where all my games are nor in my registry. When i send them to my calculator through the connector it places it in an assembly folder. If anyone knows what to do your help would be appreciated! |

IceNight Probe Posted: 27 Dec 2004 09:20 GMT Total Posts: 13 | what is ghostbuster and all of the other programs? |
JcCorp Probe Posted: 27 Dec 2004 11:12 GMT Total Posts: Edit | Look under TI-89T programs. h3wpatch fixes the hardware up, and ghostbuster patches the programs. Read the readmes for more info. |

It basically enables you to extend features the OS doesn't have built it. TI, in it's infinite wisdom, decided to change the memory around on the HW3 (the 89t), and thus many games for HW1 and HW2 try to access protected memory, which, as, we all know, is bad. GhostBuster changes these memory accesses on the old programs to work on the new hardware. This site is the home of the maker of these programs and other useful utilities for the 68k calculators. |
IceNight Probe Posted: 29 Dec 2004 08:52 GMT Total Posts: 13 | so i downloaded bot of them. I got a version of falldown to work just with the h3wpatch. As far as the ghostbuster patch goes, i either am not doing something right or the games dont get fixed. For instance the game bombmerman wont work. I do what ghostbuster says which is ghostb("<infile>","<outfile>") [ENTER] and i enter the following on my calculator: ghostb("<main\bomberma>","<main\bomb>") [ENTER] the game saves itself as bomberma instead of bomberman fyi. so i do what it says and my calculator says done and now i am not sure what to do, the instructions really dont go beyond that. If someone could figure this out that would be awesome! |
BullFrog Wraith Posted: 29 Dec 2004 09:48 GMT Total Posts: 623 | Is there another file in your main folder that is named "bomb"?
It won't do "bomberman" no matter how many times you try. That's nine characters long. Max length is eight.
