Earlier today, I noticed that whenever I typed a equasion that equaled a negative number on my 89, the answer would always be 4672835602. So I checked what the base was, it said yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and so on... when I tried to change it, the calc just froze. So I tried EVERYTHING, but I finally had to resort to the full memory reset *sigh*. Does anyone know what caused this and how I can prevent this in the future.

Sounds like something a poorly written ASM/C Program would do to a calculator, I've never experienced a odd system option on my 89, however. You'll probably never figure out what did that.

BASIC flames are for n00bs, you don't want to be a n00b do you? | My other calc is a Porsche.
