Hey, I finally had time to add some of my own files to CG today. They are all math and science progrms, so nothing fun, but once I get all these programs of mine up to dat that I for the most part abandoned while working at ticalc, I'v got some ideas in mind about some games I think I could not program in ASM for the 83X and 86.

Oh and Algebra Solver and Weak Acid/Base Solver are new ports that are pending at ticalc right now. They already existed for the 86, but are new to the 83x calcs...enjoy.

Oh last word...if you want any type od math program in ASM made for you...I'll make it if I can! morgan@calcgames.org

Do you have any 256 level grayscale first person shooter for the 83 plus SE? ^_^

Can u increase the screen resolution by 300 dpi using only software? how about making a multiple-layer, side-scrolling, 256 color (not grayscale) 3rd-person shoot-em-up that runs at around 35 fps and has more bullet accuracy than Counter-Strike: Source (not too hard :) )? Then i might think about it.

Kevin, your stuff is good, but my 83+ black edition can't take the strain!!!

Ya, the black edition is a bit outdated in terms of hardware, but still one of the most common, if not the single most common, calculator on the market. Mine is getting old as well. I should probably replace it with an 84+ SE sometime, but i don't wanna scrape together the dough at the moment, however. Also, my 89 is eeven older (HW1!!!), If they ever come out with a new handheld 68k even better that the 89ti then i'll probably upgrade to that as well. Maybe like a TI-87+ Platinum Edition. While I'm on the subject, I might as well rant about what the z80 series needs to improve upon:
  1. More user-free RAM, 96k would probably suffice
  2. more advanced math functions, like the 89's solve( and factor( abilities
  3. A better screen, specifically, one that can do 4- to 8-level grayscale.
  4. Finally, a more intelligent OS that a) won't crash as often and b) allows for more in-depth programming
