but i did get a wireless connection to work.
go to fry's (or w/e local electronic store you have) and find 2 usb infrared reciever/transmitters (one for each calc) with software built in to the reciever/transmitter. this makes it expensive, i know that the 1 meter distance was 30 dollars. i bought it to see if it would work then returned it (lol) but they dont have any of the longer range ones. it works like fun.

alex10819 Wraith Posted: 19 Mar 2005 09:58 GMT Total Posts: 507 | that is what TIM does (my chat prgm) but it still isnt really live... the problem i have is that it displays it then waits for the user to input a command or something to say. the only way i have found to combat this problem is to create a "watching" environment where it loops (while G does not equal 105:getkey->G text(X,X,strX):end) then, they just press enter to exit it.
and how do you plan to make it wireless? no matter where i look, i cant find a wireless link...

alex10819 Wraith Posted: 21 Mar 2005 13:11 GMT Total Posts: 507 | WOW! you live near frys? man, lucky you... but i dont know if just any USB wireless connection would work... maybe for Calc to Comp, but calc to calc is a little different it would seem... but i wouldnt know...(live in a redneck town, go to a redneck school... we only have 4 calc programmers in the school that i know about)
if you can get it to work, i have a chat *cough* basic chat program i can lend out... since i plan to upload it tonight...

alex10819 Wraith Posted: 28 Mar 2005 19:36 GMT Total Posts: 507 | you checked mine? yeah, mine isnt completely real-time, but im working on a newer version that is realtime until you press a key, then pauses the output until you enter a message... until then, the command /watch will suit that sort of purpose..
