Umm, No.

A normal 8x8 sprite will be 64 characters long, while the hex would be approx 16 characters long, which will save quite a bit in memory. I am going to build it for AOD Revenge and see how practical it is.

Ummm, what are you talking about Ti-freak? A normal 8x8 sprite is a colleection of 8 bytes of data, at least in assembly...

Well... I now have inverting parts of the screen (up to the whole thing!) and something even xLIB dosen't have... SPRITE SCALING...

it can take an 8x8 and make it a 16x16 or a 32x32 or a 4x4 or a 2x2 or a 1x1 ooh! and a 24x24! that means... well... nothing really
