this is waht i do. i got to the game i want, download the ZIP. then i unzipp the files, and use that TI connect program to click and drag the file from my documents to APPS on my calc. after a minute or so, i see this message "USB communication error: insufficient memory (8C08000C)". what do i need to do in order to be able to download games to my calc? |

Andy Administrator Posted: 29 Aug 2005 18:30 GMT Total Posts: 939 | No. An error code like that means the *computer* is out of memory. If it were the calculator it would have buttons such as skip/omit, retry, and cancel and say something along the lines of insufficient memory on target device.
What OS are you running, and how much RAM does your computer have? |
mikeh034 Probe Posted: 29 Aug 2005 20:13 GMT Total Posts: 12 | it does givethose options, skip, retry and cancel. if i click retry, the same thing happens, and if i click skip, it doesnt get put on the calculator. i can download everything to the comp just fine, i just dont know how to get it to the calc without that message |
Andy Administrator Posted: 30 Aug 2005 05:38 GMT Total Posts: 939 | OK, then you ARE running out of space on the calculator. If it's sending to RAM, you need to go archive stuff (read the wimpy manual); if you're sending to archive, you have to delete stuff or just get by without it (again, read the wimpy manual). |

Andy Administrator Posted: 30 Aug 2005 10:29 GMT Total Posts: 939 | I'm not going to waste my time typing instructions for something that's clearly spelled out in the manual. |
