ok, i just got a TI-84+ calculator, so im new to this, and im trying to get some gameso n it form this site.

this is waht i do. i got to the game i want, download the ZIP. then i unzipp the files, and use that TI connect program to click and drag the file from my documents to APPS on my calc. after a minute or so, i see this message "USB communication error: insufficient memory (8C08000C)". what do i need to do in order to be able to download games to my calc?

If they're a program you most likely need to archive some programs in your RAM. If you're trying to send an app, you probably have to erase some other apps on your calculators's memory.

No. An error code like that means the *computer* is out of memory. If it were the calculator it would have buttons such as skip/omit, retry, and cancel and say something along the lines of insufficient memory on target device.

What OS are you running, and how much RAM does your computer have?

it does givethose options, skip, retry and cancel. if i click retry, the same thing happens, and if i click skip, it doesnt get put on the calculator. i can download everything to the comp just fine, i just dont know how to get it to the calc without that message

OK, then you ARE running out of space on the calculator. If it's sending to RAM, you need to go archive stuff (read the wimpy manual); if you're sending to archive, you have to delete stuff or just get by without it (again, read the wimpy manual).

I'm not going to waste my time typing instructions for something that's clearly spelled out in the manual.
