You most certainly CAN use TI Connect with windows xp; I do. What version is on the CD? 1.5 or 1.6?

Download the latest version of TI-Connect from here and try installing that.

EDIT: I thought the forum auto-linked the word ti-connect. Hmmm...

Always use the latest version, but you can safely ignore the "TI didn't want to fork money over to MicroSoft for XP compatability certification" warning.

If the message said somthing like a warning that you shouldn't use it on XP because it hasn't passed some test, just click yes or whatever to install anyway. Its just a warning saying that Microsoft hasn't tested it on their systems yet.

Yeah, I got the same warning when I tried to use it at first... works fine for me.

More like TI's too lazy to fork over the money to get Microsoft to certify it.

Too lazy? More like too much of a rational-thinking company.

I would have said cheap if it wasn't for the fact that microsoft doesn't need another ten billion dollars rolling in every time they make a new OS just because thew "allow" company's software to run on their systems.
