kzm007 Probe Posted: 25 Sep 2005 10:46 GMT Total Posts: 4 | Hey all, first post: I downloaded NOTES from Programs, and have it UnArchived, but when I go to open it, I get 'Error: ARGUMENT' Anyone know what this means, and how to fix it? Is it in the FAQ, and if so, where? Thanks! K. |
JcCorp Probe Posted: 25 Sep 2005 10:51 GMT Total Posts: Edit | I know what it means... it means that a variable isn't existant on the calculator. I would try re-downloading the game onto your calculator, and if that doesn't work, double-check the readme for installation instructions. If all else fails, contact the author. |

Someone told me to use the manual, lol- what manual?) And finally, where on the site can I find how to lighten my screen, I darkened it somehow. And, I was mistaken- when I open NOTES, it says UNDEFINED, not ARGUMENT, so I'm still lost. Thanks! And I apologize for the stupidity.

To lighten your screen, press 2nd, then the up arrow. repeat this until you have your desired contrast (you can darken it by pressing down instead of up). And, also, don't apologize for being stupid. a) That was one of the most intelligently-phrased questions i've heard in a while, here or otherwise and b) even if it happened to be stupid, we would forgive you without your asking as long as you didn't flame/spam us. |

kzm007 Probe Posted: 25 Sep 2005 14:09 GMT Total Posts: 4 | Thanks, I think you got the arrows backwards but I got it. Also, when I open 'notes' it says UNDEFINED, what does this mean? Thanks again- Kegan |

Ray Kremer Ultralisk Posted: 27 Sep 2005 11:26 GMT Total Posts: 310 | JcCorp already said, it means the program is looking for a variable that isn't defined on the calculator. Usually this means there was another file in the zip file that you are supposed to send to the calculator. Check the readme/documentation. |
