I purchased the TI Connectivity kit for my TI-83 PLUS a few months ago. Since then, I have also purchased a TI-84 PLUS Silver Edition. Will the I/O PC link-cable I use to connect my TI-83+ (to my PC) also work if I attempt to use it to connect my TI-84 to my PC?

Thanks.

BTW:
The reason I want to use the I/O capable to connect my TI-84 to my PC is that I can't seem to remember where I put the original Mini-USB cable.

It should work fine. I sometimes use a PC to calc I/O cable for my titanium. it might be slower though. I think it would be interesting to test the speed of the different connections.

How will I get my PC to recognize that I'm trying to connect using the I/O port rather than the mini-USB port? Or does this all happen automatically?

Thanks for your response.

Edit
When you send to the calc, it automatically senses that kind of info...
