I've had my 89-Ti for a while now and have been trying to put games on it. It wouldn't work on my other computer so I tried a different one but now after I download the file and write click it, send to Ti-device doesn't even come up. Any body know what I'm doing wrong?

Have you extracted the program from the zip file?

Okay nevermind my first question. I tried it on a new computer and got it to work but I have a new question. I tried sending PreOS to my calculator and it said (USB communication error: insufficient memory). This can't be right because I cleared all my RAM files. Anbody know how I can clear more memory?

If you've emptied your RAM, make sure the file is going to the RAM, because if you send it to your archive it may be full. Also, depending on what grade you are in, you can probably delete some of the pre-installed apps to free more memory. (You can also reinstall them later if need be.)

I already deleted some of the pre-installed apps. I am also saving it to the ram.

Make sure you are putting it in the main folder.

Do you have Mirage or ION?

Mirage and ION don't work for 68k. preOS is the only current kernel (I think) but most programs don't need a kernel.

Ouch... sorry, I'm not familiar with 68k, and I completely forgot that 89 is 68k...

... But the 85 isn't 68K! And you can't run ION or MirageOS on it either! ...

You can't judge everything by processor class! You have to go by model number...

Okay so here's an update. I've gotten everything installed and some games on and they run now. But I was wondering if there was any way I could access Preos from the main list of folders and get a drop down list of all the games like on the 83 with mirage?

Hitting a certain button combination accomplishes this, I thought.

You need to be on the HOME screen first.

if you don't like the apps desktop you can turn it off. the option is at the very bottom of the mode menu.
