Vulcan Probe Posted: 16 Jun 2006 14:50 GMT Total Posts: 3 | I am using a ti-89 Titanium. It has on the key layout a button for a square root, but nothing that signifies a key for cubed roots, or forthed roots(or however you say that) ect. I have looked through the manual, no help, and the catalog of commands in the calculator, once again no help. On a Ti-83+ there is a key for cubed roots ect. but none on a ti-89. I was just wondering if it is there and I am blind, if there is a series of keys to push to get the same result, or if Texas Instruments just forgot. |

8^(1/3) is the same as the cubed root of 8. |

But yeah, it's easier to just say n^(1/x). |
