I was told to go to the FAQ section, but it didn't help. I want to get some good games on my TI-84+/SE, but when I try to do what the readmes say to do to get the games working, they still don't work! Also, I want to free up memory, but I don't want to get rid of the files that came on the calculator. Is there a way I can delete them and then get them back later or something?

Yes, archive them.

The games don't work because you need more RAM. Also, if what you want to delete is in archive, such as an app, I suggest linking to your computer using the USB link cable and CD that came with your calc. Once all of the software is installed (TI Connect and such) then in TI Connect choose to backup your calc and follow the onscreen instructions. Simple as that!
