Now TI has teamed up with Apple to create what they call an iPodulator. Not really,. However, thanks to a man named James Montelongo who's created a program called Real Sound v1.0 you can now take almost any song on your computer and listen to it on your calculator. This is done by somehow converting it to a TI calculator file type(.8xk). (Don't ask me how he did it). The only calculators it's currently compatible with are the TI-84 Plus and TI-84 Plus SE. All you have to is go up to your local RadioShack and buy a 2.5mm jack to 3.5mm plug adapter for 3 bucks. Then you just put the adapter in the linkport of your calculator(the small hole that says I/O next to it, not the usb port), plug your headphones into the adapter, and play the song(s). You don't have much space on your calculator so you can probably fit only two on it at a time.

Yes, it was announced on the front page of this site. And featured on ticalc.org. And it is uploaded everywhere. Thanks though.

Yeah, um, you can't really fit an entire song on there yet.

And you don't care about actually making out what it's playing.

Now, once a Mass Storage Device driver is done, if that doesn't take overly much CPU time, you might be able to stream MP3s off a flash drive if you can weave them together.

Or you could transform all your music to .mid files and put them on your calc :) .

He managed to free up 50% of the cpu time while still retaining the same quality, so it would be possible to read off of a USB drive.
