CrazyHeaven Probe Posted: 5 Aug 2006 18:10 GMT Total Posts: 3 | I was trying to download a game but I can't seem to free enough space for it. What I don't understand is why I don't already have enough space.
I thought the Ti89 Titanium had 2.7m of flash ram. Why do I only see 256kb of ram? |

this is my only guess. Now, if your game was ment to be played with 2.7, and you cant get 2.7, then perhaps the game is almost unplayable. i know there are alot of games for the 84+se that need close to 23k, and even one that is 24k(the whole memory empty) and it is just a battle to get enuf memory for that.
but if you are trying to free up flash mem, i have never heard of that as a problem.

calcul831415 Marine Posted: 7 Aug 2006 15:35 GMT Total Posts: 33 | please archive all games. you can run them from archive (flash ROM), but you must have enough space in RAM. In general keep RAM as empty as possible. |
CrazyHeaven Probe Posted: 8 Aug 2006 17:25 GMT Total Posts: 3 | That would explain why I only saw 256k of free space. The game I tried to download is huge and even with nearly everything taking off it still said it needed more memory. I'm just going to give up on that game. At least I can get all the other games/ programs I want on there now.
Thank you for the help. |
