IIRC, this happens when the computer cannot access the calculator. Sometimes this simply means the calculator has turned itself off (it does this), but generally the most effective solution is to unplug the calc, restart the computer and plug the calc back in.

Another solution is uninstalling the calculator. Then plug the calculator back in so the computer will reconize it and should reinsstall it.

EDIT: This has happend to me as well, not just with my calc but also with my printer. I think USBs are just funny like that.

It is much easier to suggest solutions when you know nothing about the problem.

OKOKOK... i think i know what can fix it... i get this all the time.

it sounds stupid and primal, but 'hold the connection frim, wiggle it a few times, and make sure it is tight and that you get a full connection." I dont mean just make sure its in there, i mean REALLY hold it tight in there, almost jam it and hold on tight. Some times i will be transferring a game and it will get half way done, then i get the error. but if i just do that little trick and make sure the cord doesnt move at all while its transferring, then it works.

yep, its most deff the connection. yours seems to be extra loose. if just one simple node comes unconected, its gonna mess up. all i can say is keep trying.

Well, that can also depend on the quality of the USB card. Some might work better than others.
