I would venture to guess you are running low on free RAM. Archive everything and it should speed back up.

Also, poorly written programs can slow down the longer you run them. The only way to get them back up to speed is to exit and start the program again. To fix the problem, you would need to rewrite the program.

i used those exact prgms before. A big problem with poorly writen ION prgms is that they are super slow on Mirrage i.e. Doom83 and Nucwars. Try using ION.

Obviously, if it was running fine before in Mirage, Mirage isn't the problem. And being poorly written doesn't just magically change status overnight either. I'd go with Andy's suggestion and clear out some RAM.

Actually L, Nukewars does run slowly in Mirage and at the correct speed in ION. Doom83 ran fine in Mirage for me.

Then you are lucky 3fg, for i dl'd two versions, and both took FOREVER to move in the menu.

@3fg: Sure, but what I'm saying is a if a program becomes slow all of a sudden, it's probably not the shell's fault, because that remained constant throughout.

i dont think the thread writer realized that the prgm was slow at first, and just happen to say that. i have never heard of a prgm that gets slow over time, only BASIC games with mem eating loops.

Q.E.D???? Im not in Chem class or reading a lab repot for college calc about the definition of the limit of infinity compared to Newtons findings in relation to Berenty's Cretique. so you could just say some english and say "point proved".
