2-Var Systems of Equations Factoring Simplifying square roots anything else helpful in geometry...
and by the way, I'm not using this to cheat on tests, we aren't allowed to use our own calculator anyway...

Posted: 16 Nov 2006 16:12 GMT Total Posts: 96 | There was a program somewhere out there which did factoring quite well and fast, I forgot what it was. Simplifying square roots is something you can do in your head, and people are more hesitant to make programs to do things like that.

and i did find a few, all of which came from ticalc.org (except the equation solver)

Posted: 17 Nov 2006 12:00 GMT Total Posts: 235 | omnicalc <-spelling? has a simplify sqrts function but i only use it every one in a while cause it doesn't play nice with xLib so i have to reinstall xLib after every time i install omnicalc but hey it's fast!
