im_an_alien Marine Posted: 16 Nov 2006 13:42 GMT Total Posts: 29 | I just got a TI-86 to replace the TI-84 I lost. I was wondering:
A) Is there a way to convert BASIC programs between TI-86's and TI-83/84? I noticed the Ti-BASIC is pretty much the same.
B) What's the best cable for my money? I have a computer that has both serial and USB (and parallel) so I'm thinking about getting a cheaper serial cable, but I want to know how much faster the usb one really is.
C) Anything cool you can do with an 86?
D) Does anyone remember my existence? :P |

B) Does the 86 even have USB?
C) Don't know, I don't have one.
D) Yes. |

answer to C) as 3FG mentioned, easier flickerless gs, but not as much space to store a lot of stuff. You'll have to learn ASM to do this though |
