TI Freak Probe Posted: 13 Apr 2005 05:44 GMT Total Posts: Edit | Yeah, the second episode with Felger wasn't nearly as funny as the first, since it was very original. :) |
Morgan Ultralisk Posted: 13 Apr 2005 08:58 GMT Total Posts: 321 | Have you watched the second yet? You'll know what I mean when you do. I seriously didn't know what to make of that whole episode until I saw the second one.
What actress is going to be playing the role of the Doctor (which we lacked in season 8 ) in season 9, and what other Sci-Fi show did she play a role on?
Edit: aparently 8 ) make this 8)

TI Freak Probe Posted: 13 Apr 2005 09:37 GMT Total Posts: Edit | That wouldn't be the woman from Farscape, would it? (I doubt that is right, because I thought that woman was in season 8 when she took over the Prometheus...) |
Morgan Ultralisk Posted: 13 Apr 2005 10:33 GMT Total Posts: 321 | There is a guy coming over from farscape, Ben Browder. And you are on the right track, the lady (Claudia Black) which took over the Promethius is going to be in season 9, but for only 4 or 5 episodes I think, she is supposed to be replacing Amanda for the first month after her daughter's birth.
However there is still going to yet be one more person to play the new Doc. |
TI Freak Probe Posted: 13 Apr 2005 11:13 GMT Total Posts: Edit | I am unsure. I didn't get to see anything for the season 9 episodes.
What did Teal's do during Triad that was against O'Niell's orders?

Ok, how many times have they used the 8th chevron, and have they determined a use for the 9th?

Andy Administrator Posted: 14 Apr 2005 07:18 GMT Total Posts: 939 | Hmm, that would be.... 3? times. And not that I recall, I seem to remember hearing "for some sort of expansion" or something.
Three times being the Asgard when Jack had the Ancient database downloaded into his head, Atlantis in Atlantis 1.01, and Atlantis (not shown) in Atlantis 1.20. I can't recall any other times. Yay long distance calls! |
TI Freak Probe Posted: 14 Apr 2005 07:41 GMT Total Posts: Edit | I take it you missed the the episode when the alternate Carter and Kawalski came through the mirror? |
Andy Administrator Posted: 14 Apr 2005 07:57 GMT Total Posts: 939 | What did they dial from there? (I saw it, just don't remember what they did.)
(And for future reference, the only episodes I can't say I saw for sure would be 7.03 to 7.whatever... I know I've seen some of them, but that's what I'm working on right now. Once I'm done with them, I might watch season 8 again, but I don't know. I mean, that just happened and is what currently is being rerun on scifi fridays.)

TI Freak Probe Posted: 14 Apr 2005 08:48 GMT Total Posts: Edit | I have been watching those...
Oh, and they dialed from the alternate SGC to the asgaurd homeworld...

Morgan Ultralisk Posted: 14 Apr 2005 11:57 GMT Total Posts: 321 | Aah yes! That one I did forget! I dod remember Carter trying to get it working again! Too bad they left it in the alternate reality, would be nice to go to Pegasus whenever you want! :-) |
TI Freak Probe Posted: 14 Apr 2005 12:05 GMT Total Posts: Edit | You know what is funny? O'Niell's memory never got wiped, just that part blocked. :) That is why the second time it happened, it happened a bit faster.
So basically, If they used one of those Tokra mind enhancement things, they could just construct another...
Oh, and how did Tolanna get destroyed? |
Morgan Ultralisk Posted: 14 Apr 2005 17:43 GMT Total Posts: 321 | Lantesh had shields that were impervious to the tollans weapons and he then used the tollan to build weapons that would go through the iris. Before they were deliverd sg1 got narim to stop the trade which doomed his people. And they weren't actually destroyed, but severely weakened. Probably off hiding somewhere :-) |
Morgan Ultralisk Posted: 14 Apr 2005 19:53 GMT Total Posts: 321 | Ok, how many times has Earth been saved by SG1? Both including and not including alternate realities. |
Jonny23451 Ultralisk Posted: 14 Apr 2005 19:57 GMT Total Posts: 214 | I'm sorry for going off the topic, but wut exactly is Stargate? I've never really looked into this forum because I didn't know what it was... |

Also, what I asked wasn't exactly a question, because I never got to see that episode. That is why I am going to buy them all.
@Johnny:
You should find the movie called Stargate. That is how everything starts out. The epiodes are much better though. |
Morgan Ultralisk Posted: 15 Apr 2005 11:17 GMT Total Posts: 321 | ...and then after watching it for 7 or 8 years you'll be able to answer these tough questions. |
TI Freak Probe Posted: 15 Apr 2005 14:37 GMT Total Posts: Edit | lol. Yeah, I have a story going right now that will mix the stargate and star trek universes... :)
Oh, and was I right?? |
Jonny23451 Ultralisk Posted: 15 Apr 2005 14:44 GMT Total Posts: 214 | lol. That many episodes? |
TI Freak Probe Posted: 15 Apr 2005 15:43 GMT Total Posts: Edit | Well, On average per season, there are 21. A few seasons have close to 25. But so far there is 8 seasons, so if you just have 21 eps per season, you still have 168 episodes. :) |
Morgan Ultralisk Posted: 15 Apr 2005 16:03 GMT Total Posts: 321 | @ TI FREAK
No, I never took the time to actually count them all, but according to Teal'c in "The Other Guys" they have saved it at least 8 times, and that was middle of season 7 :-) |
TI Freak Probe Posted: 15 Apr 2005 16:08 GMT Total Posts: Edit | Hmm, yes, that's right. Drats, I should have known that...
What is it that Teal'c drinks in the ep Urgo that surprises everyone? |

Great series, been watching since season 2 I think, though I have caught the reruns of season 1. I have not, though, dedicated a chunk of my brain for storage of its trivia. |

Morgan Ultralisk Posted: 20 Apr 2005 21:58 GMT Total Posts: 321 | For some reason I'm thinking Daniel! I'v only seen that episode once so its not firmly planted in my head yet, that requires 15 views! :-) |
TI Freak Probe Posted: 21 Apr 2005 06:28 GMT Total Posts: Edit | Well, Close enough. It would be the O'Niell and the Daniel Jackson. Sadly, the O'Niell didn't live very long... |

Andy Administrator Posted: 22 Apr 2005 15:25 GMT Total Posts: 939 | The Russians recovered the one from the *ASGARD* ship that crashed, and that was the one that was in the SGC, which was the one from Giza. |

I have to agree with Andy. The closest a gate has come to Earth besides those two was the one aboard Apophis' ship in the Season 1 finale. However one ponders if all the stargates were made on Earth by the Ancients which might explain the absence of Naquadah?? |
