File Description:   This very easy to use program, gives any programmer looking to make an RPG, a very solid foundation on which to build. This uses ascii graphics for the homescreen, and uses strings to build the maps and for hit detection. The program moves very fast for basic, and does not have any sluggish response when you hit a key. This comes with a 2x2 demo screen, and very explicit instructions on how the game works, and how the levels need to be built.

Excellent for begginners and advanced programmers, a must download!

Graphics/Interface: 8/10 intrstingly very able to change the text outputted in any way you want.
Playability/Usability: 10/10 Very usable. Good playability.
Replay Value/Reuse Value: 8/10 I say good, but it's there really is no replay value/reuse value. It depends on what you do with it. I mean, nobody sends this in by itself as a game, do they?
Controls/Interface: 7/10 Very easy to understand if you know getkey, while, and if statements.
Overall Value: 8/10 Very well made. Thank you for giving others, that usually couldn't, but now can easily create RPG's.

Comments:
The graphics will be amped up in my game, "Proto RPG", so keep looking for it. I have added my own twist to the playabilty of my RPG. I have also created some extra stuff you can do in the overworld, like overhead map, pause screen, and text on the actual overworld screen. Thank you for sending this, and may it be used in many good ways.

Perfect gide

This program is awesome! This is something I've been looking for for a long time. I'll be using this for my next upcoming RPG.
The only problem is that it doesn't explain how to put in a battle system and the other good stuff to make a great RPG. All it gives you, is a area map to walk aorund, and towns and dungeons.

Graphics/Interface: 7/10 ASCII, but still nice. Maybe more characters would be nice
Playability/Usability: 9/10 Not really a game but run very fast (in future versions the author plans on optimizing map loading)
Replay Value/Reuse Value: 7/10 Doesn't apply here, but this might be useful to many people
Controls/Interface: 8/10
Overall Value: 8/10 Good in general

Ok, there is grayscale games in basic, but this package will be really useful for people starting programming RPGs. Keep up the good work!
