TSE has never become very popular, mainly because Ion was already established and had a large number of programs before TSE came along. TSE is very easy to program for, not only normal programs, but shells, too. A programmer can easily write an alternative interface to TSE using the functions provided. TI-Linux is an excellent example of this, as it provides the user with a complete GUI, including a arrow-key driven "mouse" cursor. |
