File Description: | The first in the ADV series. This is a BASIC programmed RPG about a girl named Gypsy's day through school. Battle your way through 10 levels of evil opponents and transfer your completed data to GADX, the sequel, after conquering the Percussion Dictator! This is a collection of programs, but it runs nearly the same as one program. It sports a unique battle system, as well as unique characters. Best of all, you can upload your save to the sequel. |

This game isn't an attempt to overthrow every game that was ever made, and it isn't the most technologically advanced game available. Thank God. Finally, a game that was made that doesn't have to be super slow just to be "good". Most other "super" games out there take ten years to load one screen, and that decreases the fun factor by a million fun points. This games is quite fast, even on a Ti-83 + suck regular calculator. It's obviously better on a silver. I noticed several RPG allusions pop up here too, like several of the enemies attacks, and the final boss. Crystal Chronicles, anyone? These are very nice to see put in the game, and it's obvious where the programmer's roots are. I hope he'll submit his sequal soon, as I've e-mailed him (!) and he said it's been long done...hurry up man! If you want the latest innovative slow game, look elsewhere, but if you want a fun and time consuming RPG that is very much worthy of notice, give this a try.
