File Description: | STEINZ THE GAME (Gold v6) For TI-83, TI-83+/SE, TI-84+/SE Designed and Programmed by Adam Steinberger email: astein.junk@gmail.com
To set up game, please ungroup STZG6! New features include improved performance, crash-proof protection capabilities, and an Automated Pause system.
Steinz the Game is a cross between Frogger and Mario. The object of the game is the get an undisclosed amount of stars ("+") in order to advance to the next level without falling into any traps. The more stars you get, the better your score is. Traps include bombs and craters at the bottom level of the play area. By running into a bomb or falling off a crater on the bottom level, the game ends and you have a chance to make a new high score. There are also a few other things to be cautious about. Ice, which looks almost like an inverted level platform, causes you to slip and move onto the adjacent space in the direction you are moving. Sand dunes, which look like several specks or grains of sand, collapse in on themselves when you move onto them. You do not automatically fall from a collapsed sand dune, but there is no longer something to walk on where that sand dune once was. One last note is that there are NO BOUNDARIES in Steinz the Game. Walking off the screen will cause you to appear on the opposite side of the screen.
