What does 83x/68k mean?
Answer:
There are many programs in our archives that are compatible with more than one calculator. To make this matter less complicated, we have special symbols to represent different levels of compatibility.

"83x" simply means that that file is compatible with the TI-83 as well as the TI-83+ and TI-83+SE. You may also see users refer to "z80;" this refers to the z80 line of calculators, including the 73, 83, 85 and 86.

68k generally means that that file is compatible with the TI-89 as well as the TI-92+ and Voyage 200. 68k refers to the type of processor in these calculators.

Why wasn't my review accepted?
Answer:
First of all, reviews are reviewed by the administrators, so it will not appear immediately. If it does not appear after several days, chances are that it was denied.

There are several reasons that a review will be denied; the most common reason is bad spelling/grammar/capitalization. Another somewhat common reason is that the review in question simply doesn't say anything useful about the file being reviewed. We are not looking for "it sucks" repeated several times. We are looking for content that will help users better understand that file so that they can make a better decision on whether or not they should spend time trying out the file.

How can I quickly answer a question in the forum that is already addressed in the FAQ?
Answer:
Simply find (or memorize) the ID number of that FAQ entry, which can be found at the bottom right of the box that it's in. Once you know the id number, use the following code, replacing # with the id number of the entry:

<<faq #>>

So, for example, if someone were to ask "How can I quickly answer a question in the forum that is already addressed in the FAQ?," you could simply type:

<<faq 31>>

And when your post is being displayed, it will replace that text with the following:

Your question has been addressed here, in our FAQ.
