Okay, did anyone get fooled by our parank? Me and D actually took some time to prepare it and of course we didn't tell Barrett so he got a little upset. Not to worry B, everything is good and CG isn't going anywhere. :) Oh, did anyone actually read possible causes for the "error" page? I know that usually people read one or two bullets from the list to get a general idea and don't read the rest. Lol, Digital didn't read it and was stuck on that dummy page. April Fools Joke allynfolksjr I just got hit with it, but it seemed strange, especially since you guys said you're making money with the ads, so it wasn't a money problem... Then I saw the page graphics was quite low quality, and then I read the bulleted list, and then saw the link. :-) By the amount of traffic on this forum, the prank seems to work. edit: I like ticalc's prank, they say they're IPO, lol, it looks like people believed it... You guys should have a second layer to get the people smart enough to go past the first layer of defense, mock-up some screenshots of a calc version of Halo or UT2k4 on a calculator or something.... April Fools Joke zkostik hehe :) halo for ti calcs would be kinda cool! you guys remember that basic Halo? that'd be a good joke to post it on the front page. :Dor uhm, we could have made up a grayscale version of a halo screeny but that'd prolly look too fake unless visitors are really n00bs. btw, speaking of ticalc's article (prank). did anyone notice that we're third on their referring list? we ever got more referrals than geocities, msn, ask and many others. this is pretty impressive and i'm glad that our crosslinking with ticalc works well. anyone who wishes to check out their impressive logs can click HERE. April Fools Joke allynfolksjr Look at googles 4/1 http://www.google.com/jobs/lunar_job.html and I heard that they're offering free e-mail service with 1GB of storage... it smells like a prank also, but check it out, almost every major news service is reporting the 'gmail'.
