Important!
Unlike other Basic games, this game requires extensive use of Archiving and Unarchiving. When using this function, it slowly degrades calculator's loading time and an Archive status. To prevent this from happening, you must periodically go to menu while you are in the walking part of the game. Then choose "Garbage Collect" option. This will defragment your Arc memory. It may take some time, so be patient. Failure to do this may cause your calculator to loose programs (non-archived), loosing all of your memory, or even completely destroy your calculator.
Remember that I will not be held responsible for damage calculator(s) So please GARBAGE COLLECT!

Controls:
During movies
Press the enter button to see the next part of the movie.
During the menus
Usually, just press up or down to toggle, to select the options giving by a menu, highlight it then press the enter button

During Overworld portion of the game (Walking)
Directional buttons are up, down, left, and right.
Mode - Brings out the option menu, here you can save the game, check your status, load the game, defragment Arc memory (Garbage Collect), or quit the game.
Graph - This will bring out the map of that chapter.
2nd - This button are only used for entering the building, orbs, or caves.
During Battles:
Here are the actual screenshots of the battle.
1)	First the computer will determine the fastest player.
2)	You'll see an arrow to indicate which one will attack.
3)	When one of your character is selected, the pointer on top right of the screen will appear, press left or right to choose which enemy you want to attack. Press the enter button to confirm your choice.
4)	After confirming, menu will popup.
5)	Press 1 for regular attack, this attack is based on your strength.
6)	Press 2 for magic attacks, you must have magic in order to use magic. To learn magic, you must gain enough experiences. This attack is based on your elemental effects and magic strength. (All magic effects all enemies)
7)	Press 3 for defense, this will increase the chance of evasion but you'll loose your turn.
8)	After the final selection, graphics will display, when it's finished, the negative number will popup. This number refers to your damage given to that enemy(ies).
When you successfully defeated the enemy(ies), "Gained experience" menu appears, here, you can check your current EXP points or remaining EXP points to advance to next level, how much gold received, and how much experience your party has received.

Shops:
During the first chapter of the game, you'll find a shop. To enter, position yourself to that shop then press 2nd. If you have done this correctly, you'll enter the shop. Here you can buy potion for healing HP and MP. Also you can purchase accessories and upgrades for your weapon and armor.
Warning: Stock up before going into the 3rd chapter because shops will not be available for a long time!
Items in the shop:
Potion: Heals 20 HP to all party. Cost range is 200 to 400 Gold.
Max Potion: Heals all HP to all party. Cost range is 400 to 600 Gold.
Mage Potion: Heals 20 MP to all party. Cost range is 500 to 700 Gold.
Upgrade weapon: Upgrades your current weapon, 2000 Gold each upgrade per person.
Accessories: Add more strength, speed, defense, or luck. 1000 Gold to all party. (Note: you can only wear one accessory at a time, if you currently have an accessory and bought a new one, the old accessory will be donated to the shop)

Using Items:
Unfortunately, you can only use items during the OverWorld (Walking portion). I know, sorry for not including this option in battle but RAM ran out on me
To use an item, press the mode button during the walking, then choose the "Item" option, Duh. First, it'll display your current quantity of items, and then it'll ask you which item you wish to use. Also in item menu, you can check your party's budget.

Magic spells:
Magic Spells will be available to you after acquiring certain amount of experiences.

Bugs, IMPORTANT!!!:
RED = Very Important! This happens to everyone!
Blue = Hey, you might want to know this
Green = Less likely to happen, but you should know this
So far I have fixed all of the bugs I've encountered. But they are few of them waiting to destroy your game. But most of these bugs are avoidable, only if you follow these precautions.
1)	Error memory encountered in a long battle. In the final version, I've programmed a safety feature in which it detects error memory before it happens. If the program detects a memory error, it'll exit the program then it'll ask you to press enter to resume playing. But this detection is not granteed. Therefore, you must defeat your enemy quick as you can.
2)	Never quit the game by pressing the ON button!
3)	Never leave the calculator idle, especially while walking or during a battle.
4)	Never unarchive or Archive Tales of Magic programs and other components unless the program said so
5)	Never reset the calculator after starting the chapter game, unless the program said so
Okay, the bug got me, what should I do?
1)	You got an error due to your extended play in the battle. We as programmer hate the error memory. The only problem we cannot fix (We can only reduce the chance of having one). If this happens, what you need to do is re-execute the game. If you encounter more error such as undefined, archived or Dim, you have to reset the entire game, sob
2)	This game is very sensitive. If you suddenly exit by pressing ON, you'll damage the game. To fix this problem, you must reset your memory, then go to your memory management, then Press 2, Press enter again, then Look for *PIC2, *SAVE, *[B], and *ZZ. If you found any of these files, please delete them. This should completely reset the game.
3)	Okay, you just went to the bathroom to take a dump, you left the calculator idle for a while, when you came back, calculator displays "Err: Mem". To fix this, go back to the game. If you encounter another error, you're screwed You must reset the game. To reset the game, refer back to step 2 for instruction. If you absolutely must leave for a while, wait till the game displays dotted line on upper right of the screen, this means that calculator is at pause position. This is the safest way to leave the calculator idle.
4)	Okay, you unarchived or Archive stuff from the game, make sure you go back and reverse it or if you forgot which you've archived or unachieved, Slap yourself first, then just reset the game. To reset the game, refer back to step 2 for instruction.
5)	Okay, you reset the calculator for some reason. Well, make sure you delete the file *PIC2, *SAVE, *ZZ, and *[B] also.

Cool Stuff I did in this program!
1)	All enemy graphics are in list format compressed into archive. All pictures are retrieved with in List variable.
2)	Adding character later on in a game (Complicated procedure).
3)	Multiple mouth movement with randomized timing.
4)	Level compression. 100 * 100 map only takes 1000 bytes.
5)	Fast level uncompressing. It may not seem to you but before its release, the game loaded for 30 seconds between maps!
6)	Extensive use of Archiving commands (Complicated procedure!)
7)	Detecting low resources for Arc memory.
8)	Detection of Error memory! It's not perfect but it really helps!
9)	Virtually no "err: Mem" with only 1000 byte of RAM free.
10) Going back and forth through chapters (Complicated procedure!)
11)	With the help of an ASM program, added grayscale pictures in a movie.

Comparing Demo version from the v1.0:
1)	Refreshing character's stats on battle screen.
2)	Err:Mem detection.
3)	Rerouted all labels for faster program responses.
4)	Add Part2 and Part3 of the game.
5)	Modified read me documentation.
6)	Added grayscale pictures
7)	Fixed Level Up procedure.
8)	Added max speed in battle sequence.
9)	Added Patricia as new character.
1)	New Magic spells
2)	Combat recognition
3)	Death recognition
4)	Item usage
5)	Shopping
6)	Status screen
10)	Added Max level
11)	Added shading on character's picture in battle screen.

Something I've left out:
These are the list of things I've excluded from the game. Most are excluded because of insufficient RAM space.
	More Magic spells
Combo system (Like in Xenogears or Legend of Dragoon)
	Item usage during battle
	More houses and stuff
	Interaction with villagers
	Bigger map
	More accessories
	More Items
	Shops in every chapters

Final Fantasy: Tales of Magic 3 - This game is still in its development stage. I cannot guarantee of its release. But here's the story so far
Story:
It has been so long since the last battle. Though it provided peace among our species, I was still destined to remain here protecting them. Everybody I knew are gone, these emotional attachments to others only made thing worse. So now I isolated myself from others hoping that they'll only appear as Deja vu. The battles I fought with Edward left me with more question than the answers. Why did Edward appear uncomfortable when we visited the future? Who was that man with the hood? Why was I accused of a murder to an individual called Porcha? Who is this Porcha? Why did I accept to be the Chosen and continued to live this long? Sighs I do not have time to question my fate. I'm here to protect and serve our Creator. I am the Chosen, my duty is to fulfill my destiny... my uncertain destiny...
