TI-Piano README

TI-Piano IS Certified by Alex10819 Productions, but i didnt feel like making one of my cool little logos... or an ID number, or an encrypted binary tag... instead, just rest assured i've certified it... :)

TI-Piano is a music playing program for your 83+/84+. Omnicalc is REQUIRED, otherwise this program will do nothing. omnicalc is not included in this group, so if you don't have it and you would like to use this program, you must download it from ticalc.org

Using TI-Piano is easy. just press buttons! (ok, theres more to it than that) Each column of keys represents an octave. the last column (under f5) does nothing however. (except clear, which is used to exit, and +, which is used to change the tempo) rows 3-9 play notes. (if you dont know what i mean by rows 3-9, i mean from the [Alpha] button down to the [STO->] button.)

I'm too lazy to make a table with the note chart in HTML, so here is a link to a .txt file with it...Note Chart

See a pattern? if you get the point, you can skip the rest of this paragraph. otherwise, read this. if you still dont get it, try loading onto your calc and pressing some buttons until you do. of course, if you are reading this and already understand, you should mail me some money for wasting my time.

Other Keys to know about:
[Enter] Replays all keys pressed since you started the program
[2nd] opens up a menu to load a previously saved song.
[MODE] Load a previously saved song.
[DEL] resets the current song. this will not affect any saved songs.
+ lets you change tempo for the rest of the song. can be used as many times as you like to create the desired effect.
The down arrow key DOES play a note, it plays "A", in the first octave.

Features:
4 octave scale, notes A-G
Playback of notes pressed since start of program.
saved songs, up to 6 at a time! You can even load your friends' songs!
