Total Posts: 3 | HI, I have been trying to figure out my usb link to get games onto my calculator...I have a ti-84 plus. My problem is that i can get the game onto programs list in my calculator but It wont transfer to MirageOS so i can play it...PLease help |

Total Posts: 2486 | Not all programs will work in MirageOS, it requires programs to be made specifically for it unlike some generic loader hence you'll need to look at program readme's to see if they're MirageOS compatible. Most basic games can just be run from PRGM menu, some will show up in Mirage if author added a special line of code to make it Mirage detectable. Mirage should also be able to run most games made for ION. You may also want to check out CrunchyOS which as I have hear would detect and run a greater variety of programs than Mirage. I hope this is helpful to you, however if Mirage doesn't see some program that is said to be compatible please post its name here so we can try to help you and correct its description so other folks are not mislead. Total Posts: 2486 | Try CrunchyOS to see if it works. I heard that PacMan 99 doesn't work on Mirage or even at all on 84 series, its a rather old 83+ ION game. I'd still try CrunchyOS to see if it would pickup and run the games. As with Mario 2.0, it should work. Did it give any error or just not detect anything? Also, did you send a .8xp files or .83p? You need to make sure you only send .8xp or the 84 ones since 83p are for regular ti-83 and will not work on yours.

Total Posts: 3 | OK, I downloaded Crunchy and the same thing is happening, i dont know what im doing wrong....I have ti-connect...and I choose a game, open it and extract the files into tidate - downloads..then i drag all the files into the explorer.. The games show up on prgrms but not on mirage or crunchy |
